Getting started with Google Forms and Sheets

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Your students are collecting data, but how do they get it all into the same place for analysis? It’s easy to use a Google Form to allow the students to contribute their information to a single spreadsheet the whole class can use. However, there are some tricky details that first-time form makers get wrong. Join Warren to learn how to avoid these pitfalls. You’ll learn how to use data validation, how to include images and video in your forms, and how to make sure the spreadsheet ends up being useful when the data collection process is over. Participants will also learn how to allow students to enter data multiple times, or how to limit them to just one answer. We’ll use a classroom “exit ticket” to demonstrate how you can make simple formative assessments with Google Forms.
